Poetry: Sweet Cherry Wine with video and music by Jesse Cook.
I remember days of cherry wine
and long walks in September,
when sunbeams danced upon your face
like warm and glowing embers.
We sat beneath a sycamore tree
and all the world was fine.
We shared our dreams and memories,
a kiss and sweet red wine.
Now you've sailed to distant shores
to chase and find your dreams,
and I am left to walk alone
through fields of Meadow Greene.
The dreams that I once realized
have drowned in tears I've shed,
and all your promises and plans
that soothed my soul are dead.
Perhaps it was my fantasy
and you were never here
to take me to that blissful place
in the cool September air.
It's said that passion fades away
and dreams will pass with time,
but my heart holds on to memories
of you and cherry wine
Aaah, and Sweet September has jest gone away ag'in. Savor sum mo' of that sweet, sweet wine, 'till it rolls on 'round.....{could even return a'for the kalendar kalls for it.} Well Done, Thankyee a'Bunch..=))

Unusual, but quite astounding! Am I right in assuming that you wrote this poem? I found it very touching.
