This is an incredible live performance of Army Ants from the 1998 MuchMusic DVD "Live: Intimate & Interactive", by Linus Entertainment, directed by David Russell.

  • These guys just ruled. I wish Jeff Martin hadn't flown the coop. Chats and Jeff Burrows are just dynamite.

  • What's up with Canadians that they kick so much ass?

  • Hey guys im really influenced by this band check out my band Stiletto Assassins and let me know what u think,,,we are all over the net

  • @6tringerz All that being said, I fully admit that I had no idea they had ever released an eponymous album prior to Splendor Solis, and I will seek it out, thank you for enlightening me.

  • @ZarathustrasCrown Thank you, yes.... I realize my words were poorly chosen, I was very much on a drunken, lonely rant at that time and I too, did very much enjoy Transmission.....had simply forgotten about it during my absent minded typewritten rant. We basically agree on all parts, although Splendor solis is my all time favourite followed ever so closely by edges....

  • Hell yah fucken tea party. And I am going to see them on the 19th here in Calgary.

  • Underrated drummer, underrated guitarist. Fuckin Tea Party FTW!!!

  • @6tringerz Dude...they have 7 albums you realize...the first two were their self titled debut (hard-core blues rock album), and Splendor Solis...Edges of Twilight was their third. *shrug* frankly Edges was always my all time favorite of theirs, but up to and including Transmission everything they touched was gold for me. I enjoy everything they released, but The Tea Party, Splendor Solis, Edges of Twilight and Transmission were all bloody perfection on a disc...

  • @6tringerz Personally, I think that The Tea Party are one of those unique bands where even after they were considered to have sold out, they still sounded awesome. However, that being said, Splendor Solis and Edges of Twilight are still absolutely amazing albums.

  • F*#@ That! Their first two albums kicked serious ASS!~ Their third was un-distinguishable....they knew it was a mistake and decided to let their two first albums live with the mystique which came so easily, cause it was so different and talented from anything that ANYONE can do in the next 100 years!!!!! Tea party rules and always will, they tried selling out, and it didn't work....so they stopped......to let their first two albums live on for evermore

  • One of the BEST rock bands ever!!
