Kanto Wild Pokemon Battle from Pokemon G/S/C (Mario Paint)

Forty-eighth video. The unique thing about Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal is that it allows you to revisit the Kanto region years after the events of the first generation games take place. As the title implies, this battle music plays when encountering a wild pokemon of the Kanto region.

Though the Kanto Gym Leaders and many of the Trainers have leveled up significantly, the levels of the wild pokemon are still relatively low. Thus, it's a good idea to save any Level Balls you may have obtained for this region, as there are many pokemon that can only be encountered in Kanto. If you had to play the game starting out in the Kanto region, you'd have to do a crazy amount of level grinding to make it to the Elite 4. Brock has five pokemon in the L40's!

Don't you use MIDI's for these? I remember you mentioning something in another video about that.

Yes, for the G/S/C battles, I've been using MIDIs. However, I'm always skeptical of their accuracy, so I usually wind up pitch-picking anyway. Also, MIDIs are of little help when it comes to cut-offs and articulation.

ahh then the thing is i played silver first so i have more memories from that than i do with yellow

you could tech him evey move though, lol. you can make the ultimate ghost/dark buster with him! ftw! O: there where others, a clafairy and such, but they all had some Tm Limits. a few, but not many.

anyways, it is opinion. i just think you should reconsider yours. the first games where revolutionary, and as far as the fun i had in playing those games, my first time through blue was WAY more exiting than my first time though silver. dont judge its age, judge its quality at its 1st release.
