First promotional event of Wake Up Sid

The promotions of Wake Up Sid have begun! And now that the proms and trailors are running full-fledged, it is obvious anyone and everyone have has watched the promos as well as the ad campaign in newspapers. Undoubtedly the content is very fresh and the promotions are very innovative. During the recent and the first promotional event, the producer of the film Karan Johar said, It's not merely a film targeted at the youth. There's a strong family element in the film and we hope to reach out to them.
Ranbir Kapoor, the protagonist of Wake Up Sid seems to be simply amazing in the film. And to stand up to someone like Konkona Sen Sharma is no mean achievement. The best part is, the chemistry is interesting and the unconventional casting works for the film.
Wake Up Sid marks the directorial debut of Ayan Mukherjee, brother of the popular Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee. Apparently, during the event Ayan seemed to be very nervous and Karan left no chance to tease him. Infact through out the event Karan was tantalizing Ayan and even taught him a few mannerismstake a look!
