If you want energy efficiency, uniform warmth and freedom from respiratory ailments, hydronic or radiant floor heating is the green way to go. It gently warms a room or structure from the ground up through a series of hot water tubing in the subfloor. What better way to keep it warm and cozy than blue jean insulation? Easy to install, breathable, formaldehyde free and good for the environment. Find out all about these and other healthy choices for you and the planet on Building Green TV.

  • you're not wasting material you're reusing them!

  • how do you make it fire retardant, rodent and mold proof without any chemicals?

  • poo

  • I'm not sure why you're insulating interior walls except for sound proofing. If your point is to be sustainable then why waste so much material?

  • Watching your videos (From the library) I came up with the idea to improve on a new home. Concrete dome with straw bale insulation built the MDI dome way for an eco dome then stray bale the exterior then stucco the exterior with cement you would probably have to use a plastic cover between the stucco and allow some sort of venting but this would build a home that is lightening proof wildfire resistant tornado proof nearly disaster resistant. A home that needs little mintence and last centuries..
