こないだあるラジオで言ってたよ。捕鯨問題の話題が出たときに、"日本人を海に泳がせ て撃ち殺してやればいい"って聞き間違えはないと思う。前に新聞の一面に"JAP KILLS AUSSIE WHALES"とあったときJAPの部分を自分の名前に書き換えられて壁に張られてあったことがあります、、、も ちろん俺はFXXC AUSSIE、 KILL THE WHALES! と上書きしました。

ラジオで"日本人を海に泳がせてう撃ち殺せ"と聞いた方。それと同じようなコメントが ヘラルドサンにも載っていました。それに教養と進歩のない人種とかねもっといろいろな 中傷読みました。マスコミや公共の場でこんなこと平気で言える人達だから見えないところで何を言われているか想像絶することでしょう。知り合いも職場でジョークとの名目で ちくちくやられていると聞きます。（本当はちくちくどころではなさそうだけど）ここまで来るともう虐待のように感じる人がいて当然ですよね。白人はもともとアジア系を見下 しますが、鯨の問題はもってこいのカラカイねたになっているのは確か。今戦争を知らな い若者までがジャプ！といって面白がる背景には人種問題も鯨にあい重なっているように思います。今、人間皆が何かしらいらいらしていて喧嘩や暴動騒動でストレスを発散しよ­うとしてこの国でも理屈に合わせて都合のよい捕鯨にその矛先がむけられているのかも知 れません。もうこの国のほとんどの人間が捕鯨に関していらだっていると言ってのよいかもしれないので

日本の新聞テレビで「○○は野蛮だ」という表現を見ることはない。もしこうした表現を 使えばそれだけで大問題となる。オーストラリア人は独善的なので例えば「捕鯨は野蛮だ」「日本人を殺せ」という表現が使われても問題視しない。

オーストラリアは環境保護に熱心な国ではなく「熱心なフリをするのが上手い国」。巧みに鯨を利用して"環境保護"を内外に強調し、日本批判を繰り返し、ナショナリズムを煽­り、人種差別意識も手伝って反捕鯨運動は巨大化している。国を挙げて反捕鯨運動をするのは勝手だが、日本人を野蛮人扱いするような報道や政治家の発言は容認できない。この 点では在豪日本人、大使館だけでなく、日本人そのものの意識改革も必要。嵐が過ぎ去る のをただただ待つような受身だけの日本人の態度は終わりにしたい。

オーストラリア人は南極及びその周辺海域のかなりの部分を自国領だと認識している（も ちろん国際法上は認められていない）。２０１１年に南極条約が見直される「可能性」があり、国際法上の領土拡張への期待も膨らんでいる。オーストラリアは非常にナショナリ­ズム、自尊心（Aussie Pride）が強い国でもある。

@amerimashiro a bit of give and take is needed here. go read ur own history before lecturing others about theirs, but OH thats right ur government bans books/movies about anything bad to do with ur past, and just plainly ignore it.

Ur propaganda is PATHETIC, especially when u chop and change things to make urself feel better about it. YES, my country does have some sad things in our past, but we also have good things too, but atleast we are looking for a brighter future.

Destructive Agricultural policies? U mean drought? remember this is the driest continent on the planet (bar Antarctica) and u fail to mention that we replant trees and have vast expanses of protected land for the purpose of conservation of wildlife etc.

And if u want to bring up Australia's barbaric past (which this generation had nothing to do with, and for which we have acknowledged and apologized for) why do u neglect to mention ur own barbaric past???(which you have not acknowledged, and even ban books/movies about it) have u forgotten the treatment of Allied P.O.W's in WW2, the rape and pillage of Nanjing, and China for that matter, barbaric testing and research on human beings (biological, chemical etc) and cutting off head contests!!

I wish that the tsunami completely destroyed the fishing/whaling industry in Japan instead of peoples lives, and dont give me the excuse that whaling is japanese peoples livelihood, people adapt to change,

This has already damaged Japans reputation with the Australian people, our family and friends no longer buy anything made in Japan. If Japan does not stop killing the whales there are other anti Japanese responses being planned. It will end up costing Japan much more than the whales are worth to Japan. It is already causing an anti Japanese feeling where we had respect for the Japanese people before, there is no respect now. Just stop whaling, you don't need the whales.

If protecting our whales makes us racist then we are racist. Be assured it is not just Sea Shepherd Japan is up against it is a large section of the international community, the Australian people will not stand by and allow you to kill our whales in Antartica. No matter what our government does the Australian people will continue to finance Sea Sherherd and anyone else who wants to disrupt Japanese whaling. How dare you use tsunami aid money to finance whaling. No more donations from our family.
