I've polished Vader. Recently, in fact. But it was the scarecrow "A New Hope" version. (as opposed to the tin man version.

Wow, I'm the first to watch this! I always did like how Vader looked more polished, but also more menacing, as the movies went along. In Episode III, though, he looked like the costume wasn't being filled fully. Maybe because I knew who was under the suit.
