Vision line Clinchfield Challenger part 1

While a large number of Challengers found service out west, 4-6-6-4s had colorful careers in the east, too. In 1942, eight Challengers were initially ordered by Clinchfield, and after the war they received four additional units. The Clinchfield Railroad also purchased six final Challenger locomotives in 1947 that the D&RGW had rejected a few years earlier and sent back to the War Production Board. On the Clinchfield, the single stack ALCO-built Challegers were used to haul Appalachian coal until dieselization forced to the scrap yard in the early 1950s.

NOW THATS NICE WITH LOADS OF DETAIL I WHAT A LIONEL 4-6-6-4 ENGINE OR A BIG BOY TYPE ENGINE BUT I WHAT TO COLLECT ALL THE POSTWAR LIONEL TRAIN SETS ON MY LIST FIRST I HAVE MOST OF WHAT ONES IV WANTED JUST A FEW MORE AND THEN I THINK IM DONE!? AND THERE SOME PREWAR LIONEL SETS BUT NOT AS MANY MAINLY THE 263E BLUE COMMET SET 264E OR 265E 250E 752E SETS

MTH has great Command features but nothing compares to Lionel's Vision detailing like shown here! Man! It has Great detail- the flickering firebox is awesome!
