@Kenanee I do agree with you there, but both the producer, Keny, and Bill Bixby, were originally not for doing the series unless they make it dramatic and poinant and such.

@MulToyVerse no, that's what David Banner was for, not the Hulk or super powers, It a TV budget that is more the culprit not to mention this was how they did TV back then and Hulk was the most powerful thing around.

@kepochi1 the fact that it didn't kill him is what made him the hulk. His wife was killed in a car accident that caught on fire. He was unable to help her, so he began research into adrenalin induced miraculous moments where a mother would become superhuman as in lifting a car to save her child trapped underneath. He found that in each case involved one common denominator high levels of gamma rays. So, he tried it on himself, however exposed himself at too high of a dosage resulting in the Hulk
