Quote mining from a circular logic book? Wow you are deluded.
-
cincy - i've read it far too many times for my own good. the BB unequivocally states the opposite as well (my quote vs. the BB's stance that an alcoholic can't be helped by professionals, i.e., dr.'s & psychiatrists) - only another alcoholic. For evidence it relies almost entirely on anecdotal recommendations & endorsements from nameless dr.' & psych.'
you don't want an idea - you want dogma, certainty & intellectual vapidity. that's why you repeatedly go to the BB for your argument.

This is one persons opinion of millions in AA. Her dr. sent her to AA in 1944. Drunks were deemed hopeless in those days by professionals and locked up in sanitariums. She found her way to stay sober in AA. worked for her.

Have mentally challenged person in my family that is a beautiful person. "Retard" is so extremly derogatory and offensive on so many levels I refuse any more contact here. thanks for showing your true colors...your credibity is now completely dissolved.
"What are you on about" means -i.e. what are you talking about. has nothing to do w/using drugs. you truly are one SAD human being. very best of luck. you will need it.
-
4:21- "AA boasts they dont use professional healers because AA sponsors are much better."
cognative dissonance -WOW great words...do you always talk this way or are you trying to impress??

"Do not hesitate to take your health problems to doctors, psychologist and practitioners of various kinds...." their services are often indispensable in treating a newcomer and following his case afterward." from Alcohlics Anonymous-not silkworth but Bill Wilson
I looked at the AA web site: A breif guide to AA. What Does Alcoholics Anonymous Not Do
AA is for alcoholics who want to get sober.
AA is not a religious organization.
All members are free to decide on their own
personal ideas about the meaning of life.
I saw the word Disease used once. (Its not in AA or 12x12)
Many more times the word "ILLNESS" is used. People should do a
little research before spouting off with a Strawman. BTW did AA hurt you?
PS I don't like religions.

Hurt me ? No, they left me for dead. My channel is not for steptards only they think it is.
I really am done with arguing with you people, there are no new points that anyone has made in more than a year.

I really must object to your statement that AA "left you for dead".
AA does not leave anyone, you are a mamber if you say you are, all you need is a desire to stop drinking. You cannot, and will not be excluded. That is the truth.
More likely: you left AA to seek your death rather than take down the walls of you ego. Many choose that course, real honesty is a scary thing.
I bet you are "done arguing", you haven't won a debate yet! Probably real frustrating.

You can object all you like, really I am done with you goofy fuckers. Like all other steptards you make stupid assumptions rather than ask simple questions, thus is the nature of a cult.
