Education is a terrible way to find out what you're good at. Sound strange, right?

But think about this; how many of you are currently working in the subject you liked most in school. Not the one you excelled in, the one you liked.

In our very streamlined public education system, children around the world are taught the maths and sciences, but how many of them are taught art, painting or dance with the same vigour?

  • This is a great guy. I've seen the TED talk and he certainly deserve more attention. I fully agree with what he is striving for. We have to stop thinking in the same paths and come up with something better.

  • @74u73hjd - It's still alive and well in the current government in every capacity.

  • if it wasn't for the goverment spending the money - then who would! It would be even worse if it wasn't for the NHS and other public services. At least you can choose whether to spend your money or not.
