  • Thank you for posting this vid, Viva! A fantastic vid of the Davies brothers together.

PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!! The camera man does a great job of capturing them at interesting angles. : )

  • Looks like the drummer dropped his stick at the beginning. Ray and Dave take turns looking back.

Their harmony here is great, with Ray low and Dave high. Dave's lead sounds great!

  • Fabulous - that's why I love the Kinks - real people, wonderful social commentators - and they hate each other just like all siblings!

  • Wow, this is a fabulous performance!! Just take out that Big-Chinned Dorrito eating retard Jay Leno out of the footage, and it would be absolutely perfect.

  • WOW! These guys are so great! As "old" as they may be I wish that Dave would agree to tour once again with Ray!

  • Oasis learned from these guys.

  • Ray and Dave are great psychoanalysts of each other. :)

  • Well, you try being a band with the same people - related or not - for X number of years - and you will begin to hate certain things about each other.

  • This is from a Rolling Stone article about Phobia.

"Dave pisses me off, awfully" Ray says has he looks out the car window. "I mean, Dave's a complete jerk. But I did write him a birthday card today that asked, "Why do I love you?'" ....

... "I suppose the truth is that it's 's the relationships with an edge to them that have always been the most exciting to me" Ray says, "But the fact is that Dave is absolutely insufferable, totally intolerable."

  • dave´s voice cuts like a knife

  • Haha brilliant. The Davies brothers appear to hate eachother in real life. Love the understanding smile between the brothers at around 2:06 and the playful hit. Celluloid Heroes is one of their best songs. Long live the Kinks!

  • wonderful treat to see this
