Of course a larger and heavier car is going to win vs a small car. Euroncap rating is by class, not an overall score.

A 5 stars supermini is not as safe as a 5 stars SUV, they mention that clearly on their website.

And don't forget the car park in Europe is completely different from yours. You don't have Dodge RAM's and that kind of oversized SUV's.

500 and specially Smarts are cars you should not drive in the US, because you have too much SUV's.

I see another cheat here, the Volvo starts from a tunnel to mascerade the fact it drives at a lower speed as the Volkswagen V/VI.

That means that the VW get inflicted a bit less damage since the volvo goes at a lower speed as the VW

@titsxyxyxyxtits the audi A1has a better front but gets more "door intrusion", in fact a harder blow can slam the door inside the car crushing the passengers. The fiat altrough it's frame is 5 years older and 2,5 times cheaper to buy stands out better in the side protection

anyway the Fiat frame is longer proven on other cars, ADAC already got some warning from France by cheating on the Dacia
