Two of Europes biggest economies — Germany and France — reported signs of a recovery. Each saw growth of 0.3 percent in this years second quarter.
But despite a turnaround for those countries, much of Europe is still mired in recession.

the media is currently involved in the biggest spin in history,the "green shoots of recovery and the road to recovery" ?the reason being is each journalist and media company has realised he or she or they has everything to loose if the economy or should we say when it collapses completley ?so the current thinking is we can all sing from the same song sheet ,maybe we will all feel so good that the tidal wave won't wash in ? i have a message for them ever heard of king canute ?

are you joking!!! this is just a big smokescreen. Report about something that means something. Just because the US is sending billions to Europe doesn't mean they are any better off than we are.

hey look, two countries with universal government back health care are growing better then the US is, maybe this healthcare reform won't mean the death of America.
