  • I absolutely LOVE this thing!!! when I win the powerball it will be in my custom built shop!!!!

  • @dunners2004 So, in short, it's autogyro, like the guy said. If that's so, then why does the guy say 'vertical take off' for a later model? It would then need to address the torque rotational force of the 'powered' overhead blades. It's not a new idea and not the best one, but still a good one. Thanks for your reply on this.

  • @Itsmeeman1

Its not a helecopter...i.e. the blades are not powered. It simply uses its forward speed to cause the rotors to turn, which in turn causes lift. There is a clutch between the engine and the rotors, so when on the ground the rotors can be pre-spun to reduce the takeoff run. Friction on the ground counters the torque, and weights on the end of the blades give the blades a dynamo type effect so it can initiate a jump takeoff. Note, this vehicle cannot hover in still air :)

  • What have they done to eliminate the torque rotation of the heli blades?

  • That's a WOW!! hope it would cost like a new SUV..
