Santorum probably needs to hear this quote. America can influence peace by showing other nations our friendship through trade, but in no way should we dictate their government or have to "stand up" for the, using military force or othrwises.

God will they ever stop mentioning Iran like seriously, every time anyone that isn't Ron Paul opens their mouth it's 'we don't know what Iran is doing in this particular part of the world' it's either them or China it always comes back to those 2 countries. They should stop trying to pick fights with China, the idea of America and China at war with each other personally scares me more than anything Iran could do. Like it's not even on the same scale how screwed we would be if they fought.

Christians also argue that life begins at conception, barring us from doing stem cell research. The blastocysts used for STR are 3 day old collections of 150 cells. Is their suffering more important than the suffering of millions of real people with full body burns and terminal diseases? Like I said, I'm willing to have the discussion b/c it is important my main problem is the moral high ground being taken on religious grounds. To me it's a matter of suffering, and fetuses aren't suffering.
