Flight from Tamiami Airport to Key West and back

I took my friend Rick flying in a C172 for the first time while I was visiting Miami. We flew down to Key West for lunch.

This is my first attempt at using the Windows Movie Maker so don't knock the production quality :)

The airports are Tamiami Airport in Miami and Key West International.
--2/25/2012-- Just learned this plane crashed making the exact same flight yesterday

Did you fly direct KTMB- KEYW? or your first checkpoint was MTH?

Almost MTH. There is a VFR checkpoint called VPLYY just east of Marathon. I also stayed hi up so we were always within gliding distance of land.

Thanks - that was my first landing with a significant crosswind in a while... but I know... I still should have centered it better! I think the winds were 130@12 or something when I landed.

@Michael37924 Oh ok cool, yesterday i did a flight from Homestead General (X51) to Key West, its pretty awesome flying to KEYW.
