I'll also have to say, all personal opinions aside about Beyonce (she does not offend me in the least bit!) I have thought for quite awhile now that someone is missing the mark here in not casting her in a biopic about Tammi's life. I did not see her in Cadillac Records as I just can't feel her as Etta James, but feel that she is clearly talented enough and is actually not far off the mark in beauty.

I did meet Tammi's (Montgomery) sister this past year at her induction tor the Walk Of Fame earlier this year. I can't think of how hard it must to have been to lose someone that special so early in life and with so much promise.

She is most prominently known throughout the world for her duets with Marvin, but her songs like Come On And See Me or I Can't Believe You Love Me are among some of the best Motown songs that you just don't hear enough.

what the hell is that?

We knew Tammi and Marvin..Tammi however, was a typical fly philly girl with swagger and a desire to sing!! She had attitude and ambition where James Brown and the industry touched her(abused) to some extent but her innocence mostly rang loudly with her duets with Marvin, so much that when she passed, he considered quitting music altogether and took a hiatus. Tammi and Marvin had amazing chemistry. The thought of her demise was just unfathomable to most!!

good idea.....Tammi Terrell bio....I think the best actress to play her would be Tarj Hansen....who played in "Hustle & Flow" and "Baby Boy"....she's very talented...I think she could pull it off effectively.
Get somebody like Erykah Badu to do the soundtrack....Yeah !!
