Amanda Terkel: Confronting Glenn Beck

http://ourfuture.org asks Amanda Terkel, blogger for ThinkProgress, how progressives should respond to the Glenn Beck phenomenon. Beck is the Fox News host who helped drive the right-wing, anti-government "teabagging" protest in Washington on September 12, 2009. Terkel has written a number of articles that not only expose the ugliness of Beck's rhetoric but also detail how Beck's faux populism lines up with conservative money interests. Terkel says that progressives cannot afford to be silent while Beck creates a political atmosphere in which green jobs champion Van Jones is fired from his job in the Obama administration and the Senate acts to cut off funding for ACORN.

Fox is nothing about news, it's about profit (and the morons that pay for it) wow, just like the rest of the Republican agenda. Beck finally went completely insanely off the deep end so he lost his ratings/profit. Time for another loser nutcase to fill in for Glen.

Glenn Beck is off of FOX News. His ratings dropped and he lost over 300 of his advertisers. He therefore cannot come to an agreement with FOX on his contract.

Unfortunately, what this blogger misses is the fact that every claim Beck makes he insists people research for themselves. She makes claims without fact, but rather opinion. Which is fine, but stop trying to pass it off as fact. Yes, progressives should be worried. The progressive infestation is not something America will tolerate. It is 100% counter to what this country is. I feel sorry for this girl because it's a shame to seem someone talk out of their ass and have video evidence of it.
