''Do you doubt the power of the ALMIGHTY GOD that can do anything. Doesn't He have the priority to do anything.'' What an Absurd statement!!! You require an equally absurd answer.. Do you doubt if God can transform himself into an ant which is supposed to be crushed by people and cease existing???
God is above such statements!! All praise to Him. He does only Godly things.

This answered a lot of my questions i had about Christianity, i would be curious to see his take on Protestant faith, i thought that was the purest restorations of the bible, but by his analysis it looks like the Romans had such a huge impact on the early versions that it may be impossible to restore back to what it was.

Sorry, for the late reply. Unfortunately, you are mistaken about the meaning of sadaqallahu.... It actually means "Allah The Almighty speaks the truth". Think the word for "truthful" is As-Sadiq. Pls recheck. It would be better if we could speak on skype etc as the youtube format is limited and time consuming. If you agree then let me know. BTW I am no scholar nor am I Arabic speaker. Search all you want but you will never find any examples of any scholars saying "sadaq..." after a dua.

There is a huge misconception among the people who call themselves "muslims" that Islam is whatever we are taught by our parents, elders or teachers. This is in fact one of the root causes of the ills that we see among "muslims". The fact of the matter is that Islam is what Quran & saheeh Hadeeth teaches as understood & applied by the Sahaba, Tabaeen & Taba Tabeen. Period. The rest is all mambo jumbo (Khutuwat as shaitan) and will certainly lead us astray from the straight path. Cntd to P2
I am so glad that you are engaging in this conversation instead of disregarding it as trivial. Thank you. What Yusuf recites is a dua, yes that dua is part of Quran and he can say "sadaqallahulazeem" after reciting part of Quran but since he is reciting a dua it is wrong. This is why at least basic knowledge of Arabic is compulsory upon every Muslim makes sense. Pls check translation of what he says. You will know the absurdity. Or else check with a scholar giving him full details. Wassalaam

as a muslim it is important to seek knowledge so no doubt.
so i did a quick search on what this means, just like Yusuf, i dont know arabic, so for arabic speakers alhamdu lillah foryou, but we have our deficiencies, we are muslims because we accept the prophet(saw)'s message not because we speak arabic.
none the less i searched what this means it is sadaq allah ul azeem - Allah is the truthful the mighty.
so i ask is it bad to start a lecture with that being a standard put forth?

now that i know the meaning of this to me it is perfect to start a lecture, because you acknoledge taht Allah has all knowledge (which really means that you are speaking from barely a drop of knowledge in the vast sea that allah has) and that Allah is Mighty (that the limited knowledge we have can be changed by the will of Allah)
what is your opinion as to what makes it wrong to start a lecture with knowing what your standard is.

yusuf prays rabbishrahli amri... and then he says sadaqallahulazeem?! how ignorant of him. why doesn't some one tell him this is wrong?

he is not a scholar in islam as you are, he is a scholar in comparitave religion. and the reason he ends with "sadaqallahulazeem" is because we are taught that when you complete reading the quran you say that, and being that the dua comes form the quran he feels justified in ending as such because to him it is the kalam of allah which he speaks. ofcourse i cannot speak for him but i can see myself doing the same and that would be why.

Cntd frm P1. As you say that Yusuf Ismael is not a scholar. Correct. However, since he has a podium he now has an enormous responsibility to watch his actions whether they conform to Islam or not. Otherwise he will end up doing Islam a disservice. Right? He or anyone in his situation must check with a bona fide righteous Islamic scholar and must refrain from doing/saying what he knows not to be correct. This would be the right and correct thing to do. Jazaakallahu khairan for all your efforts.

Is it wrong to say what he said after recitation of the quran?
is it not true that what he recited came from the quran?
i dont mean to sound offensive or defensive, i am seriously asking, because one thing that we are taugth from authentic hadith is that a time will come when people will tell you things about islam that you nor your fathers ever heard of, therefore what is the evidence that this is wrong?
