@jeekal1 It's the main disadvantage of utilizing ZMP (Zero Moment Point) computation when it walks. The machine's feet literally tries to 'kiss' the ground in such a way as to neutralize it's momentum, a force which would easily topple it over. Passive dynamic algorithm walkers like Cornell's Ranger robot are a lot more energy efficient than ZMP walkers like Asimo and Toyota's 'Asimo' cousin in the video above and don't look like they're running for the loo~!! :)~
