@Heightz1734 They are not actually 'dead' but rather called 'dead' . they are in another dimension . well , this movie is rather mind-twisting .

About the ending : The two are still suck in the same dimension as they were back in Silent Hill which is the reason why Christopher ( the Husband ) can not see them. The daughter has the same powers as Dark Alyssa though, maybe she could change it. It needs to be a prequel that is continuous to this.
