This is the picture story of our beautiful friend heather stevens. She was a single mom with a beautiful son. She passed away last year because of pancreatic cancer. She was a huge supporter of the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research at UCLA Medical center (www.pancreatic.org) as well as someone who received benefit from the their important work.
We hope this video tribute will inspire you to get involved in the fight against cancer. please join us for our run and walk in los angeles Oct. 28th www.LACancerChallenge.com for more information.
@HirshbergFoundation Me and my mum always give money to the cancer research and clothes to our local charity shop raising money for the research too. It makes us feel good that we are trying our best to help so many people.

Heather was my big sister, thank you for keeping this video up of her. It was a wonderful surprise to find it. She loved life, she loved her son more than anything and she was taken too soon. Thank you again.

My father passed away on 11/16/09 due to a finding of pancreatic cancer, he had the whipple procedure done and after that he had some infection due to the pancreas juices leaking out.. I would have loved him not to have the whipple procedure and lived the way your brother Donnie did.. Surrounded by his loved ones.. !!!.. He never got the chance to meet his 2nd grandchild, but he met his first one...I wish he never did the whipple procedure..
