Obviously, this isn't intended to be cute OR funny. It was designed to bring awareness to the sickness. The title "suggests" what is going through many an afflicted person's mind and I think is very appropriate. I don't mean to be offensive, but you really shouldn't be so closed minded and quick to judge. This is a very serious film. Read the other comments...
Quite honestly I can see how people could be either offended or touched, as you probably expected anyway, knowing how emotional this subject is. I watched the same true life, and found it just as heartbreaking as you did. I appreciated how the ritualism of the disease was portrayed in your film, the only criticism I would offer is to emphasize the secretiveness as well: Most bulimics have mastered the ability to purge soundlessly, which I think is a defining characteristic of the disease.
I don't see it as a piss take as stefannelson seems to. I see it more as a comment on the irony of this society whereby so many women are forced to subject themselves to such 'unpretty' measures to strive to obtain what on the surface is perceived as 'pretty'.
I think it is a very insightful portrayal of Bulimia.
I think this is in extremely bad taste. I have an aunt who has a real problem with this, and I don't think this is funny, cute or like the title suggests Pretty. Maybe you should try this again and choke and die. Nice film making. Go suck an egg pukey!!!
Me and Dustin are responsible for this, aren't we?

Wow. Erica my dear, that could not have been fun to make. Well done though. I disagree with whomever said this was done in bad taste.
