보니 대한택견연맹의 경기방식인것 같네요. 결련택견을 보면 경기장이 아주 조그맣건데, 대한택견연맹은 태권도만한 넓이네요.

네, 결련택견협회 경기보다 경기장 커요... 요새의 한국인 옛날 한국인보다 키가 더 크죠... 그러니까.

Why in taekyon competitions punches and hand blows are not allowed?

As far as we know Taekkyon has been practiced bare hands as a game (called Kyollyon Taekkyon 결련택견) which happened in Choson dynasty until Japanese occupation of Korea. In that folk game, Koreans would play to match their skills against other players. There are also punches, elbows, eye strikes and so on... in Taekkyon. Techniques aimed at injuring called "yetpop" (옛법) but they are not allowed in the games and normally taught to advanced students only!
