What do mean female? She is one of the most passionate violinists period. I'd put her next to anyone and pick her performance as my favorite much of the time.

saw her live in may with the DSO, the whole concerto was breathtaking and leila was outstanding as well

This violin is not the same one that she played in her Boston Pops concert IMHO.

interesting articulation and rhythmic interpretation. not sure if i like it but her character and sound are fantastic and so are the clarity and accuracy of the notes. i also happen to love the energy and tempo. it does not feel rushed because she is taking the right amount of time pushing and pulling through phrases. great recording. very underrated, i think.
