I've been playing this while out on tour and it's received such great responses from you all that I decided to do a video for youtube!
The story goes - I had a very dear friend who lived out here in Los Angeles. We did just about everything together for the few years she lived out here in L.A. Then one day, she vanished. Not a phone call, ... not a word about where she went and why. Still haven't heard from her ... So this is my letter to her.

PS - I did another video of this with my guitarist (lance) while in Japan but there were bugs in the trees that were making so much noise, they almost overpower the music! I might still put it up.. just for fun. what do you think?

I still cry when this song gets me off-guard on I-tunes and I'm looking at pictures and letters and stuff. It reminds me a lot of an old friend who died in a car-crash... I believe music is the only form of expression that's truly effective in sharing your feelings and emotions, and touching people who feel the same.

This song is really special and honest. It really proves that she has talent for writing something different. Too bad that her album is not that strong.. It sounds like any other pop record and it does not add something new, like this song truly does.

can relate to this song......a close friend just suddenly stopped talking and hanging out with me....i was hurt at first...then after a long time I finally gathered up enough courage to confront him....and...okay...i found he really is a jerk...then I decided I don't want friends like him
