its like i'm a kid again though i just became an adult not so long ago i'm imaging myself seeing beauty for the first time my face has this sheepish smile across it i'm just staring at this image i'm wondering who is this person, i want to ask them why they are so beautiful, i just look and look i smile and convince myself that this person is perhaps the most beautifulest person i have ever seen i look up at the mirror reflecting what looks to be me it took me ages to realise that i'm beautiful.

Sure ambient works from groups/artists like Ulver, or Philip Glass, or William Basinski may be pushing more boundaries and displaying more raw vision, but in the case of Newman, it's about how amazingly he creates sound that not only seems appropriate being played over films, but that elevates the films to new heights; becoming inexorably linked and necessary.
