We were invited to join a small team of scientists hired to do the first marine biodiversity assessment of the near shore reefs of the Sunshine Coast. The project is commissioned by the Noosa Integrated Catchment Association, with funding from the Sunshine Coast Regional Council and the Norman Wettenhall Foundation. The assessment was a pilot for what we hope will be a more comprehensive project to be commissioned in the future. We were asked to film and photograph the study, adding to the research data. We'll also make a short film about the project. The local TV news came along one day and did a story...
Wow - this is really cool! I hope it leads to more interest in this research and opportunities for Undersea Productions to film the efforts. Nice work!!! Awesome to be interviewed right along with the scientists too, Josh!!!
