HNLMS De Zeven Provinciën (F802) launches two Harpoon missiles, an ESSM and a SM-2. This was just off the North-American coast for an exercice. A detailed article (in Dutch) can be found at:

This LCF has some of the most advanced radars in the world, especially for a frigate. It also uses the same "crappy" missiles the US has. Thirdly, last time I checked we were allies.

@phadil I believe it is because the Dutch have the APAR system installed, which is manufactured by Thales Nederland. As far as I know, those are only compatible with the ESSM and SM-2. I'm not totally sure about this, though.
