i really want to get a holland lop for my birthday thats coming upp in june. i am very serious about getting one. i live in ca. do u know any good breeders? also that when i looked for a breeder they were very far away from where i lived.....so im very lost.what should i do...just buy one at the store? and i really want lop rabbit.

@janekjh523 you should contact your local rabbit rescue. they always have a variety of breeds and ages and the people caring for the bunnies can inform you as to their personalities ...something you can't tell with a very young bunny. plus, most have already neutered/spayed the rabbits something that is a must and normally runs between $200-$300 thru a vet depending on the area.

@mamasuso have been proven wrong by minnie. she is practically a female version of bailey. she is very affectionate. jumps up on the sofa with me every night, follows me around, doesn't mind being held. will kiss you until she's dehydrated! :)
i made the decision early on not to bond her with the other 3. partly because i thought she would be friendly and partly because bonding 2 females is not my idea of fun!
