The EfficientGovNow program, through the Fund for Our Economic Future, aims to accelerate government collaboration and efficiency by providing as much as $300,000 in funding to as many as three collaborative government projects from throughout Northeast Ohio. Through the month of July 2009, the citizens of Northeast Ohio will vote on which of the 9 finalists will receive funding.
This project is a collaboration of New Russia Township, Oberlin City Schools, City of Oberlin
These three entities propose to collaborate on fleet management services. This project is expected to include equipment maintenance for light duty vehicles, heavy equipment and school buses, joint fueling and construction of a storage facility to extend the life of school buses.
