Honestly Obamacare should put the healthcare industry out of business so that it can rebuild itself as a more humane system. If we had let the system continue on it's current course, I ask those you that think we shouldn't touch healthcare, what might happen if we didn't change the system? Could you have come up with something better?

You can thank Gingrich and other Republican politicians for the idea of an insurance mandate. They came up with the idea first.

Gingrich was a proponent of mandatory health insurance since the early 90's, when Obama had not even entered state politics.

i dont understand why people get so angry about obamacare i live in england and i have the nhs and it works just fine sure some people can say some guy said that he dosent like it but just look at the average life expectancy of other countrys with stuff like nhs and its alot longer than americas so can anyone tell me why obamacare is bad (also dont say stuff about it being to do with religion as if religion had control of hospitals we would still be in the dark ages)

If the "liberal media" was not dominated & controlled by the GOP, the Affordable Healthcare Act, which simply allows people with a pre-existing condition to buy healthcare which the "free market" denies them, would not be demonized with rightwing lies about "government take-over" and "Kenyan Socialism"

Rule of Thumb: If the morally bankrupt "christian" GOP is against something, it probably helps the poor, the sick, and the needy - you know, the people Jesus told his followers to help.
