Thing is Bhutto going back to Pakistan was "Plan B" that was endorsed by the United States. Quite odd actually. What we see is strange bedfellows here. What are the motives and who benefits? Those are the questions...

Behind the scenes it was the UN and US diplomats that encouraged bhutto to return from exhile to encourage democracy in the region. The really odd part is they're now trying to place blame on Al Qaeda in the press, but Al Qaeda is an enemy of Mussharif not Bhutto. Strange bedfellows indeed.
