@sumfanrock Actually, a lot of bands do make their money off of record sales. Its usually more underground and less popular bands that make their money off of touring and selling merch. But usually bigger bands under more significant record labels, unless theres some sort of an agreement, do get a portion of what they make off the record sales. Do some research before you speak.
