Wilson confuses trust and faith -- which are similar in there differences to the concept of knowledge and belief. Trust is evidence based -- you have a position and it is reasonable to hold that position based on prior learning and future confirmations of the veracity of that position. Faith is an emotional deduction based on lack of material evidence and not resting on any kind of logic.
