Fleet Week 2009 (Iwo Jima) - The MARCbot and Mine Detectors!

Here's the MARCbot (Multi-function Agile Remote Control Robot). It can travel distances up to 100 meters and can be used in night missions thanks to its low-light camera along with its LED arrays. I would have liked to see one of these in action.

Next up are the mine detectors. The first of which is the MIMID or Mini Mine Detector (it uses 4 AA batteries?) and afterwards, we have the AN PSS-12 (which uses four 1.5 batteries).

Sorry about the focus issues along with the camera noise (or grainy appearance).
