So are UMPCs not a big thing in the U.S. I never realy here about them. I currently live in Japan and I see a few futistus every once and a while but they are more expensive than a netbook, usually twice as much. I am heading back home in march and want to buy something like this. Is there anything good in the states?

i wonder about gps capabilities with devices like these. if it was cheap i would buy that in a snap and make my phone into a wifi hotspot and take this on the road for satellite images of the places i want to hike to. how awesome would that be.
