How radically different from so many other SL videos! Beautiful in the extreme. This is like a man who could break the guitar's neck with his bare hands, making love to it instead.

I'm working on a guitar pro tab, but I really suck at tabing so it'll only have the notes, no timing or rhythm and I'll probably miss a note or two, but I have the first minute done pretty much perfect. I'll post on here when it's up then someone can do timing and dynamics.

@italianoman This is easily played by ear, no need for tabs dude lol

This would sound amazing with an orchestra doing the synth part...!

Probably the only SL song one can hope to learn!

what's he doing at 2:40?

I wish I could give Shawn Lane a Hug.

Incredible!...I wish Sean was still with us, it's just not fair, him nd Gary moore are two of my all time slow players!

@MyShawnLaneVideos is there a better video recording with higher quality audio? it could be ripped

It's the subtle note shaping he does. I have yet to see someone with more dynamic control, Govan comes to mind as approaching Lane's level in that regard, but that's it really. The most crushing part of this song are the harmonics IMO. 1:20 is like the single saddest note change I have EVER heard! EVER!!!
was this ever recorded on cd?
