Sarah P. Duke Gardens hosts traditional, intimate Japanese Tea Gatherings throughout the year in the Japanese Pavilion and Tea House in the Culberson Asiatic Arboretum. For this larger event, students from Hawbridge School in Saxapahaw, NC, studied Japanese culture with Duke Gardens' Nancy Hamilton for two weeks, then presented two Tea Gatherings for fellow students. For information about Tea Gatherings and other events at Duke Gardens at Duke University in Durham, NC, please go to http://www.sarahpdukegardens.org.
