@ForsakenZOL I love both WoW and diablo ^^ they're both great games, but this one is beast. Wow is ok, this one is EPIC.

its a mixed of diablo 2 and fable/fate.
its very addicting unless your unique weapon broke at 45% chance of dismantling :x

one realy good game that shows that u dont need a super computer to play a great game its just like Diablo for all RPG fans u should try it

Without doubt, Diablo III will still be better than this game; don't get me wrong, this game is great. I think this game is more like a sedative until Diablo III comes out. Unfortunately WOW: Cataclysm and Starcraft II have yet to be released.

Meanwhile, I played Diablo 1 and 2 for years. The Schaefer Brothers, two of the three guys who FOUNDED Blizzard North and INVENTED Diablo and set the standard, are two of the main guys who made this. Travis Baldree, the guy who made Fate alone, is the other main figure on the development team. Everything he tried to do in Fate (pets, enchanting) is improved a hundred-fold, while following the Schaefer brothers' perfect Diablo gameplay model. It plays WAY more like Diablo 1 than anything else.

Well I believe I am qualified to refute that statement... and so has anyone else who bought the game today.
To me, Fate sucked. It held my interest for a total of about 8 hours. There was hardly any character customization, no real skills, the entire game was TOO random, the story was barely there, the controls annoyed me, and the "modding" just wasn't up to par.

Well, to be accurate 2 of the three guys who invented Diablo (1 and 2) are the main guys at Runic Games. The other "big name" is Travis Baldree, who made Fate.
As far as we can tell NO ONE working on Diablo 3 worked on the original 2 games.

I had the press release, since I run their biggest fansite.
And yes, the game is wonderful. If I didn't have self control it would probably cause me to lose my wife and job :P
