what really would have been great is it the led indicators ran along the bottom or the top of the device, like kitts scanner... when i have sme money to spare i am defiantly getting this if i can find it...

I am pretty sure he's talking about his personal car.
The body style between '82-'91 didn't change. The bumper and tail lights did, as well as the hood and wheel options. But an '89 could be mistaken for an '82 if you didn't know what to look for.
