  • Talk about an obscure song....this is really early Porter Wagoner...B side of Eat, Drink and be Merry.

    Great song :-)

  • Wow, do you have that record too? I was just looking at it again tonight, Eat Drink and be Merry, for tomorrow you will cry. I can't remember how that song goes though, mostly i have listened to "Squiggle" It's a 78 RPM record.

  • Nice truck, I was so surprised when I saw it was an automatic. My uncle has a 1974 International with a 5&4 speed (Twin Stick) with a Big 549 Gas engine, I think it's a 2010 Fleetstar, it's a flat bed farm truck. He'd never sale that thing for a newer one.

  • I have seen the Fleetstars...they look a lot like the Loadstars but extended somewhat to accomodate the larger engines. Wasn't the IH 9.0 diesel based on the IH 549 gas?

  • Nice truck

    i love the song too

  • Thanks! I like the song too.

  • that 345 could not get out of it's own way! the 392 was better, and i would rather have a manual 5 speed!

  • @eh4891 I am a dyed-in-the-wool International fanatic!!! International builds in my opinion the BEST quality trucks and engines around, I currently own 3 mint condition 4x4 Travelalls, One is a '73 with a 345 V8 with an 750 cfm Holley carb and a 4 speed manual transmission and the other 2 are '74s with 392 V8s with 800 cfm Holley 4 barrel carbs and 3 speed automatic transmissions, I know that some Travelalls were built with AMC 401 V8 engines when International was running short on 392s, But th

  • Nice Loadstar!! Too bad it had been sold!! Other than the Loadstar school bus chassis, I've never seen a Loadstar chassis cab with an automatic transmission before!!

  • Hey Chad, you're an International guy like me, that's cool, I'm trying to get one of these myslef or even an International pickup. I drove a 1968 one of these once, an old grain truck same body same color, that 345 engine ran like a gem too. I saw your International busses and I see you know your IH info. You should make a video of those buses running. they are awesome. International is known for their school buses. Why do think there are so many around.

  • I learned how to drive on a truck like this one my ole man bought 1 from a Navy surplus sale back in 81 0r 82 she had minor body damage which was fixed brought back memories

  • I seen a couple of gas engined Loadstars here in Metro Vancouver.

One of the few trucks I never forget during my childhood. Just like the one from the video, but they don't have a factory cabs and the grille have "INTERNATIONAL" lettering on it.
