Terraria - Episode 57 - Hybrid Monster Farm

Hello tubers, in this episode I show you my hybrid monster farm creation that allows you to kill slimes, demon eyes, jellyfish and sharks while doing nothing or going afk.

It allows you to farm: Diving Helmets, Shark Fins, Glowsticks, Slime Gel, Lenses, Black Lenses and (sometimes) Shackles.

Can you farm king slimes with this?

@QSLxBanana No cause king slime is Huge and the farm is Small.

Truth, the pit would have to be 8-9 blocks wide to farm king slime, the walls would also have to be taller with a upside triangle at the top to lock that bad boy inside of the trap, but this would make it so that zombies and normal slimes would never be able to enter and lower the demon eye kill rate. I would also have to replace the bridge over the ocean with dirt and plant grass on it.

I could alter it to allow king slime to enter but you would then run into the issue of item loss because you would have to move back and forth slightly to allow the items to land in your inventory. This would make the trap slightly less efficient, generally for king slimes I like to make a trap for only them to enter to allow your to fill your inventory up only with slime gel and ninja armor.

What if you placed blocks near the top, it might help to make the zombies climb up

Zombies are able to fall through platforms. They're after you and you're below all the platforms, so they go right ahead and drop down rather than climbing. If you gave them a brick slope to jump up as they get closer to you (horizontally), I think they would hop into the lava happily. Nothing wrong with more coins, but yes, it might choke your inventory with shackles.
