As the morning passed into evening,
Still no vessel did she see.
And so she took down to the shoreline
To tie herself against a sturdy tree.

But still no struggle did she make.
The storm grew strong and the waters drowned her
But her will, they could not break.

The shipwrecked sailor found her
Cold and quiet, and on that tree.
He freed her from the ropes that bound her,
Made a noose to hang beside her by the sea.

With his dying breath, he begged forgiveness,
Swore he'd never part from her again.

He thought he heard her calling in the wind:

Now, that old tree, it bears yellow apples,

Thank you! And thanks for supporting my dad all these years. I do want to come to the UK- I'm visiting my mom in Ireland in November, and my agent and I are going to try to put together a few last minute Ireland dates... nothing's been done yet, but it's in the works. I'd really like to build a fan base over there, if for no other reason than that it means I'll get to see my mom in Limerick more. Hope that's close enough to where you are!

This song is wonderful. The chorus is fantastic with the soaring voice. I only found about Grace recently via IMT's YouTube Channel, I'll have to listen to more. I'm sure there are people in Australia who would love to hear her.
