Although the ruling class and working class have taken many different forms throughout the development of history, the underlying structures of economic exploitation by an elite over the masses has not changed.

The problems of the Arab nations and even Europe goes back hundreds even thousands of years. Religions form sects and these sects battle for control (power). Leaders of these sects hold power by being held up by underlings who, with out the central figure have no position in society. Royalty is no different. A king needs to do nothing to hold power, his princes and lords, out of necessity do it for him. In the case of over thrown Arab leaders is. What comes next? Watch Syria as descends.

But I would continue and say that economic equality is merely the democratization of bourgeois privilege unless enjoyed by one an all. Hence why Fascist Germany was not socialism even though the German people greatly benefited from the plundering of Europe. True Socialism is belief that firstly puts equal value on every human life, those alive today and those yet to be born and also emphasizes sustainability of the environment above all. I know humans have yet to get even close to this ideal but Capitalism is defiantly not 'the way'. The 'exploit at any cost as long as it pencils out' rule is wrong wrong wrong.

You think Communism would be any better? The Communists were exactly the people who were most strongly against such theories. Engels wrote against Thomas Malthus' theories of how population had to be kept low and self sustainable saying it is "...the crudest, most barbarous theory that ever existed,". Lenin called it "an attempt on the part of bourgeois ideologists to exonerate capitalism and to prove the inevitability of privation and misery for the working class under any social system".

Any thinking person who can not see the legacy of ruin the people who rule today are foisting on the worlds children through nothing more than greed for money or power is blind. We know this planet can not support endless numbers of humans yet Capitalism pushes the breeding of consumers.
