The Plan: Captain Godshall was to lie to me and secure all the evidence in my possession. SFC Harold Grant, as leader of the house stripping detail, was to ensure that any remaining incriminating evidence was recovered by USAREC members. As a command, they could then deny any of this ever happened. The plan failed.
The house stripping detail piled SSG Harvey's belongings in the front yard. Neighborhood children found live large caliber military ammunition in the pile. I recovered some and turned them over to the Norfolk Police Department. The voucher numbers for the evidence are: Property Clerk Voucher # 07-002989 and 1st Patrol Voucher # is 40600.
1SG Christopher Wilson and SFC Harold Grant testified in court. Godshall did not honor his subpoena. Every lie Harvey or his lawyer tried to push through was hammered with evidence and truthful testimony. Cary Harvey and his lies literally fell apart in court.
From Norfolk to Fort Meade to Fort Knox, all USAREC members knew that they had strayed too far from the core values. They knew they were violating DoD regulations, UCMJ articles and state(s) laws. Yet they have did nothing to stop it. The Army core values will remain tainted and empty rhetoric until all of this is made right. During the house tour, 1SG Christopher Wilson moved aside a pile of dirty bed linen and old uniforms. He found a copy of a birth certificate belonging to the parents of a young boy, J. A. Britton Green. (1SG Chrisopher Wilson's fingerprints are likely still on the document.) Following the advice of my lawyer, arrangements were made for Captain Godshall to come to my house. Stacy Godshall made two visits. On his first visit he mentioned that he would assist Harvey is setting up an allotment and setting things right. He was cordial. He stayed and talked for a few minutes before leaving with a large bag of uniforms and documents. I called Stacy Godshall back. He was welcomed into my home again. I gave him a second bag containing an LRL (per Chris WIlson) and other documents. Godshall received these items, then broke and ran for my front door proclaiming, "There is nothing that I can do for you!" He ran to his government car and drove away. While their CO was lying to secure evidence, the recruiters under his command were stripping the rental property bare. The mission to erase any evidence of a crime was thought to be a complete success. I did not call Godshall back the third time information was found. Captain Godshall and his house stripping detail failed to complete their mission.
The house stripping detail was lead by SFC Harold Grant. (1SG Christopher Wilson testified to this fact in court.)
I called Col. Randolph (Godshall's CO) on 4 may 2007. A week later I received a letter threatening to sue me if I did not stop making libelous and scandalous statements to the media and his superiors. The news story broke on WAVY--TV 10. I was sued for $15,000. Captain Godshall, 1SG Christopher Wilson and SFC Harold Grant were subpoenaed. Only the 1SG and SFC were present in court. Both soldiers testified truthfully. It was their testimony combined with the, irrefutable and overwhelming, evidence I presented that created my defense. The lawsuit was dismissed. Absolute truth is the only defense against a slander/libel lawsuit.
The concepts of honor and integrity are reflected in the core values of the armed services and provide the foundations of the military way of life. Those standards are to be exemplified in your behavior, in everyday life, as well as under the stress of combat. The concepts of honor and integrity are reflected in the military mind-set; the ways in which military personnel relate to one another. DoD personnel are to avoid, even the appearance of impropriety. It was a clear impropriety when a CO deceptively secured evidence for the purpose of minimizing the impact of a privacy date breach. It was also a clear impropriety for this CO to use the recruiters under his command to further facilitate in covering up the loss of PII.
Col Fred Taylor ( in a letter) apologized and offered to personally come to my house to pick up the remaining evidence. i declined. usarec recruiters last visit to my house did not work out to well. contact me

I'm an Army recruiter in the California bay area going on 2 years in a row being the top recruiter in the bay. (The hardest market). We are on Salary and have no reason to do shit like this! I average 4-6 recruits a month. The U.S. Army sells itself! This recruiter was either setup or on drugs...thats the only way for a soldier to compromise his or her integrity being that integrity is one of our Army values!

I am a disabled veteran. I support all branches of the military. USAREC has tried to cover this up for too long. I have been hurt by their actions and many other people may have been as well.

he has been sued for slander and libel. The case was dismissed because he was telling the truth. See the other video titled "Privacy Breach - Army Recruiters try to minimize the impact". This is wrong. There is no honor or integrity in their actions. They should make it right like they promised.

He agrees with you. The Army sells itself. The landlord is a disabled veteran. He still respects the uniform. What these recruiters did by stripping his house, lying to obtain almost all of the evidence and making promises they still haev not kept, puting military ammunition out in the trash and the list goes on. He was even sued for making slanderous and libelous statemnts. The case was dismissed in court because he proved he was telling the truth.

Until I spoke to the landlord I did not believe him. All of his documentation appears to be in order. He is telling the truth. That can only mean that the recruiters are not acting in accordance with all of their 7 Core Values. He has already proven his case in a court of law. An Army 1SG and a SFC testified in court. It is a matter of court record in Norfolk VA. The ammnition is in the Norfolk PD evidence locker. The 911 calls are also a matter of record.
