Fascinating video. Excellent analogy of the state as a virus. Successful viruses do not completely destroy their host, but rather generally let their host cell be free to grow and sucks off resources from the host to reproduce. Indeed, min-archism or so-called "limited"-government is simply a virus in its infancy, which starts off small but will gradually grow and dominate the host.

The state is just one of many institutions in our time. A minimalist state won't work bacause companies will claim more and more power. At the end of the day what you want is wealth and income so why is a company cheating you any better than government. Individuals won't make roads so your argument is incorrect, can is irrelevant. There has never been a state that did nothing but provide security because crime connects other things.

However in a stateless society there will not be the state to back the fraudulent company up or to bail it out for abusing its customers. On a free market those who abuse the system will fail and suffer the consequences depending on what they have done.

@gblpst81 you dont have to govern yourself, you can use 3rd parties that are voluntarily funded... look at celtic ireland under free market anarchy for 1000 years... provided more liberty & prosperity than any statist system, as good as the constitution is its failed as the men with all the weapons ignore it & theres a big hole in it called "we the state, have the right to rob you" which is a hugely immoral flaw.

This is anarchy 101, which could be wonderful if it were possible. But most people aren't enlightened enough to govern themselves as individuals and so anarchy quickly descends into chaos. This is why the idea of a constitutional republic was started because it allows the personal freedom to foster productivity as a society and benefit the elite ruling class, which today has decided to relinquish our freedoms and bring all prosperity to a screeching halt. Follow the Constitution, fix the problem

Sure you can talk about the virus of the United States, but remember that the virus you are talking about has roots in Europe. Europeans went to take over the Americas. Well, nowadays, the virus is still in Europe; deep and discreet. The United States has loud voices, but only because it's energetic. But the true virus is not in the United States, it is in Europe: I'll even tell you the country where the virus lives strong, therefore very discreet: Switzerland. The US grows and evolves!!
