I support art. A civilization with out dreamers is a civilization with out a future. Here is a video from a Blue Collar American worker supporting all the dreamers and artists who make life worth living.

This video is not structured grammatically nor does it rhyme. But art does art always follow the rules?

Words:

What is my art? Is it drawing?
What is my art? Is it Music?
What is my art? Is it it writing?
One begins to ask, "what is art?"

Is art a painting on a wall?
Or a Statue in a museum?
Or is something else,
Something deeper?

We have our senses to express the world around us.
We have our emotions to express our feelings.
But what of the soul? How do we express that?

Its something you can see.
That sparkle in your eye.
You can see it in a child,
And between lovers.
Its your spirit, what makes us different from the animals.

It goes beyond emotion, but how is it expressed?

Is possible that painting on the wall or the statue in a museum,
conveys more, something deeper.
Essence of Humanity, this is how we worship.

So what really is, my art?

If art is from the heart, does it have to be confined to what is mainstream?
If it is, it's not truly art. But what is art?

Art is what you love, what you can do for hours without thinking.
For some thats music, and others, maybe dance.
But can art even be a sport, or a science perhaps?

My art is video, Photography, and photoshop.
But the real question is, what is your art?
The only thing you really need, is a place to express it.

I see, I just 'upped' the ratings somewhat, even though I gave 5*. Don't let 'ratings' get to you. I haven't done this for long, but there seem to be people out there in youtubeland, who anonymously (not even a comment) give out 1*, they won't even comment and show their face/channel. I can understand a 4 or 3, but 1?! why not just go on and look at something else. I do that when I don't like something. What a life some person must have to have 'fun' giving ratings a '-' kick...oh, well :)

Art is a lot of different expressions, that is why it's difficult to define in categories, right. Your 'writing' is now: writing plus art/pictures plus your own talent of combining/showing it. And because of that 'writing' is so much better. Thanks to youtube for providing the ways, and the abilities of the artist.
