@Masowai I never knew about silicosis till you said it. I've been sucking in heavy amounts of dust for many years. I'll start being more careful. i never thought it really did anything..it's not smoke, not coal, I always just figured that dust really wasn't a big deal. Thanks for the info.

ok this guy is an idiot well he is wear ear protection but i would rather see him wearing a mask and someone spraying water on the concrete to keep to blade cool and keep the dust down

Only the old timers and inspectors wear masks... There hot and theres no hole for a cigarette LOL if you know what your doing you wont suck dust, and youll save alotta blades...
Try cutting your driveway with a butter knife...
Then think about FORCING your saw through it...
You cant rush the saw.
BTW i use that stihl its a cement monster, but the release for the cord sucks.

That it does. I was just using this same model of Stihl to cut a curb last week (no mask - shame on me!)
I made the mistake of killing the saw to give my hands a short break, and the pull start quit on me.
